Neighbor in Need - Snow Removal

During the neighborhood cleanup this fall, we met Missy Witting and her 92 year-old mother, Shirley Roberts, who live a few blocks away from our church in Hurontown.   Missy provides care for her husband who had a stroke, as well as for her mother next door, but she is extremely worried about how she will be able to keep up with snow removal this winter.  We ask that you include Missy and her family in your prayers and if anyone thinks they may be able to help out this winter, please let us know by emailing joe@copperluth.org or calling 906-281-1075.

Senior Saints

Senior Saints will meet for a Christmas get-together on Thursday, December 16, at noon, for a potluck meal.  The main entree will be a ham.  The rest of the dishes are provided by the ladies.  It will be a time of Christmas fellowship and celebrating the 'reason for the season'--the birth of Jesus Christ. The program for the event will be the Copper Country Christian school kids putting on their Annual Christmas Concert for us.  They will be accompanied by Kathleen Alatalo-Arten.  We invite all the seniors in our midst to join us that day.  Contact John or Jean Pemberton for more information (906-487-9412).
